[given the nature of the house, he would normally allow one of the others to answer-they're closer to it, normally, but he's leaving the kitchen with a small bite of the leftovers of Lelouch's dinner. it only seems logical to leave the kitchen for the door, instead of heading to his room. he's barefoot when he answers, the air hitting his feet immediately and drawing out a surprised expression]
