For the last couple of months now I have been wishing and wishing I could turn back the clock to the beginning of this year - wishing I still had one of my U-nosses. I shouldn't have sold them all - I should have kept one. It was stupid ( Read more... )

I do hope this works out for you! *crossing my fingers* because you know how I feel about bringing home the First BJD Love . . .

And the heft and balance of a doll matters SO much, doesn't it? In the end, that's what worked against the SD16 for me, as fond as I was of his face and hands. He just never felt right in my hands, somehow.

I think it is going to work out - with huge thanks to treacle_tarts above. I'm still pinching myself.

I've been feeling so miserable off and on ever since the last Unoss went, I think I knew straight away I had *done the wrong thing* but was trying to push it to the back of my mind. I was watching a film last night and suddenly I wished I had my girl sitting with me.....

I've really been enjoying your latest pix of Flynn - he really has arrived HOME hasn't he?

It feels that way! I keep forgetting that Flynn is, you know, NEW in the house--strangely enough, it seems as if he's always been here. And you know this already, but the early CH tans look good in everything, don't they? I want to play with eyes and wigs one of these days, but I think I've finally conquered Flynn's eye placement, and I hate to mess with them . . . ;-)

Sorry to hear about your regrets, Lynn! Have you contacted the people you sold your dolls off to and seen if they are still happy with the dolls? They might be willing to sell them back to you. If not they can just tell you to get lost.

Just a thought.

Wishing you the best of luck at having the perfect Unoss come back to you. The 'feel' of a doll is very important to me too... I've been fortunate that 98% of my dolls have felt right to me, but even now I have one I am thinking of selling . . . which is hard for me.

Thank you! I'm very happy that I have found my girl, I am still pinching myself.
It is hard to let a doll go, and usually there is a good reason and in the end it works out and is for the best. So I'm wishing you lots of luck with making your decision.
Thank you kk!!
