We have been told we cannot do this, by a chorus of cynics who will only grow louder and more dissonant. We have been asked to pause for a 'reality check.' We have been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope

I am absolutely convinced he is the right choice of the three currently in play. I am hopeful he can provide that vision thing that is so lacking in American political discourse. But I worry, big time, that he more an old school politician who will not be willing or able to face up to the slippery status of America and Americans in the world. That can only be addressed after the elections, so it is a waiting game for something that has never been delivered before. If he can't, I wonder how his supporters will react.
But he sure can talk, and he is a writer. No doubt about it.
