Very true.

I'm wondering, though, what prompted the reminder?

It was more observations of adolescents, and realising that what charms me most is their innocent enthusiasm (as if no one has known this cool thing before) and that what I hate most is a studied indifference that views passion and enthusiasm as deeply uncool. I want to shake them and shout "Life is too short for indifference!"
