Got some writing stuff done. Two short stories completed, and a tiny bit of progress on "Echoing Up". Also, submitted some darlings and smelled an old book for a couple of minutes. Now I feel all writerly! Write right rite wright!

If only I could do this sort of thing every day...

I'd like to fill my fifteenth LJ user icon slot, but have been waiting for the right one to come along. Lately, I've realized that I don't have one for when I'm feeling...silly. Or goofy. Or just plain ol' me.

Any suggestions? Maybe an LOLcat version of me that says KOOKY PAUL IS KOOKY?

• Review edits and galleys for "Pigment," which is set to appear in the October issue of Farrago's Wainscot
• Give "[Name redacted]" a third read, make it a bit more shiny, and mail it out to WOTF before September 30 hits

• Call about getting a new coupon book from my student loan people since they seem to love to forget to send me a new one when the time rolls around for a new one to be sent, jerks
