One more go at Celebrity Jeopardy SNL

Last night was the season finale for Saturday Night Live, with host Will Ferrel and Green Day. I, uh, admittingly, fell asleep in the middle of the Celebrity Jeopardy skit, but just watched it on Hulu. It's full of win, and the Tom Hanks impressions is spot on. Check it out:

Hilarious. I almost never watch SNL, I'd say it's because I'm all old and shit, but I never really watched consistently. When I saw Will Ferrel was going to be hosting I tuned in. Jeopardy was awesome. Weekend Update was also made of WIN. A great episode all around - except Green Day - who I'm sorry to say, look too damn old to playing the exact same sound and dressing in black and with eyeliner like they're still "badasses" (were they really ever?) They looked like they needed a nap - especially the drummer.

It's funny, Bobcat Goldthwait (sp?) had a bit on a comedy special about a million years ago and he had this bleached blonde hair and he was sweating and wiping his hand on his jeans and the dye was bleeding onto his pants a bit, and he said (in his trademark voice) "I look like Green Day's dad." That's all I could think last night. Those dudes look like Green Days dad...except they're Green Day...it started to kinda freak me out.

Also, super props to Tom Hanks for just showing up for the Jeopardy sketch...without being the headliner. He was by far the best part of Jeopardy. And it's stuff like that (not being a disgusting diva) that makes me remember that I like Tom Hanks, even though he's in DaVinci and Angels & Demons.
