[Concert] NewS Winter Party Diamond in Osaka (Jan. 11, 2009)

I went to the NewS concert in Kyocera Dome today.

(I will put my thoughts under the cut... I am going to write my own, honest thoughts and suggest you don't read it if you know you'll get offended if you read something that's not a really "positive" thing...)

Awww...it's a shame you didn't enjoy it. Thanks for being honest and sharing what you felt..I think you have every right to..and you shouldn't apologise for your own thoughts..you weren't mean or nasty, just honest.
I LOVE reading your con reports so I'm looking forward to reading about all the shows you're going to! Especially Kagotsurube!!! ♥

Thanks :) Yeah, it's not that I dislike them or anything; their concert just wasn't as exciting as I thought it'd be. It's where I caught my flu too so it makes it worse now!! LOL Haha just kidding, but the inside of the Dome was really cold that day.

I am excited for Kagotsurube too <3 I'm sure Shota is preparing for something absolutely amazing!

No..I can understand that. I've always thought that Ryo doesn't seem the same with them as with K8 but I always just put it down to the fact that they're a different band...different image...different songs etc.

I'm sure he is...I hope he's also planning for the next K8 tour...I'm DYING to hear when it could be.....

I envy your seat~!!! O.o

even if I was am a NEWS fan... I have to admit Eito seems much more fun. NEWS has mostly pop-y songs, so I guess it really would feel different from an Eito concert.

And for some reason, I hate it when Ryo's in NEWS. He seems to fake his smiles more there! >.< And it kinda annoys me to see Ryo trying to be more cutesy. @.@

Yeah, our seats were unbelievable! The moment we saw how the arenas were set up, my friend and I were like ".....oh dear" lol.

I didn't like seeing Ryo in NewS, either. He seemed... fake. He just didn't look like he fit in with the others. He spoke close to nothing during the MC, too!

THANK YOU!!! That is EXACTLY how I feel too!! K8 is a "live" group and their concerts are so fun to go to because the guys themselves are having fun, they show it, and they want to share that fun with the fans. There's lots of interaction. You want to keep on going to their shows because every show is different. K8 hasn't had an album in ages but they still have so many concerts. I agree with you that NewS seemed more image-based; I felt like I was "watching" their singles/albums. I think they have good songs, but the CDs will do... I don't think I need to go to any of their concerts, haha. If my friends have extra tickets or something maaaaybe I'd go (if it's in the Osaka area) but I wouldn't apply for myself.
