[Random] GREAT WEEK

Jan 10, 2008 20:41

Okay, so everything started on Sunday...

Jan. 6, 2008 (Sun) - I was listening to Hina's "Kanjani Tsuushin" radio show like I always do on Sunday nights. A few months ago, they were talking about having a small segment for Shota where he would ask the listeners to send in a "title" and a little background story to go with it so that he can make up a song right on the spot. So, I sent one post card back then with a suggestion... THEN!!!! I was already getting hyper because Hina started saying "So we were talking about this a while ago to have a segment for Yasu... in our very first show of the new year, we have decided to give this a try..." Shota's like YAAAAY!! But the other three (Hina, Subaru and Maru) are like blaaah whatever. Maru asks Hina, "Isn't this supposed to be YOUR show?! Why are we having a segment for Yasu!?" Hina explained that it's because there were so many messages from the listeners after that show, plus a few angry ones that were demanding them to do it, so he reluctantly agreed to do this, lol. The idea of Shota's segment was brought up originally because a listener sent a message saying "Since you took so much time trying to come up with a hobby for Subaru (and failing miserably), can you please do a segment for Shota!?" That girl was most likely a Shota fan, haha.

Anyway!!!! My point is, the first message they read for Shota's "segment" (which didn't really turn out to be a "segment" because Hina, Subaru and Maru kept on trying to change the topic) WAS MINE!!!!!!!! HAHAHA. They read my message then went on talking about other things because they were (jokingly) avoiding trying to give Shota attention as much as possible. While I was listening to the radio all freaked out, I wanted to punch Hina, Subaru and Maru in the face because A) They kept on ignoring Shota and B) They freakin read my message and didn't do anything about it!! LOL

...In the end though, they kinda made up for it. Every week, the show gives one lucky listener (whose message is read during the show) "Wasabeef," which is a potato chip type snack that sponsors the show. Guess who they chose to send the Wasabeef to for this show!?!? Hina read my name out <3 Yay!!! Hahaha. I was quite hyper at midnight, only to wake up a few hours later for work...

Jan. 9, 2008 (Wed) - Otokomae (Subaru) updated the Chimp (Shota)/Otokomae diary on J-web (Johnny's official cell phone website) for the first time in AGES!!! It's been more than three months. Subaru's entry was just one sentence, but it was nice to see that they hadn't forgotten this diary! Hahaha.

The sad thing about this day though, was that it was supposed to be the day when they sent out the "You've hit for the Janiben filming!!" e-mail to those who applied and hit for the next filming. Unfortunately, I didn't see the e-mail in my inbox so I was like "Oh well, better luck next time..."

Jan. 10, 2008 (Thu) - The Chimp now updated the diary, asking Subaru if he's excited for Mitei-Ichi. Yay!! They are back at it!!

The most unbelievable thing happened; I never check the "SPAM" in my e-mail because it's... well, SPAM. But, I wasn't receiving an e-mail I was supposed to be getting, so I went to check the SPAM for the first time.... THEN!!!!!!!!! Guess what e-mail was in there!?!? It wasn't the e-mail I was looking for, but EVEN BETTER!!!! I HAD HIT FOR THE JANIBEN FILMING!!!!!!!!!!!!! KYAAAAAA!!!!!!! I will be going to the Jan. 16 filming in Osaka (taking the day off from work, haha)!!!!!! Unfortunately you're not allowed to share any information until after the show is on the air so I won't be able to write a full-out report, but YAY!!!!!!!!

When I got home (after purchasing the most recent TV Guide which was full of K8 greatness), a big box was waiting in my bed room.... I was like WTF?? and saw who it was from and was like GAAAAA!!!

This is the box (look how big it is compared to the water bottle):

and this is what was inside:

Hint: The green package says "Wasabeef" :-) 12-packs!!!!

...and that's how lovely my week has been so far!!
