The three parts of Hector’s Bargain can be read as a standalone fic, but it’s more interesting if you also read some of the other Truths and Lies stories.

Ah, Jack's mother! I like it!

Also like, very much, Hector scrambling and dissassembling madly to keep himself breathing. Makes me grin.

I was really hoping she'd be his mother in canon. In fact, I'm still fudging to make the idea canon compliant - ish. I love Hector when he's desperate, as you know.
