Finally got a DSLR to replace my old SLR that I haven't used in years. Film is so expensive and the turnaround time is too long. The instant feedback digital provides should allow me to experiment and learn much faster.

I have decided that a high level of password complexity, as a means for secure login authentication, is mostly useless. Password complexity is where sites or systems require a minimum length and at least one capital letter, number or symbol in a password to add complexity and decrease the chance that a hacker will figure out your password ( Read more... )

There was a meteor spotted during the day Sunday in the skies above Texas. It was a pretty bright fireball to be spotted during the day. There was video of it. I'm sure it can be found online. I sold some sunglasses that I got a long time ago from Sunglass Hut on eBay recently, and the buyer accused them of being fake. The opening ceremony for the olympics just blew my mind. I don't normally watch the opening ceremony because they tend to be boring, especially the winter olympic ones. That said, I'll probably miss the torch lighting because I'm not sitting through the endless parade of nations. I heard it is good so I'm sure I'll see a clip somewhere.
