My Video Game History

Aug 03, 2009 23:51

Saw a "my video game history" in a video game blog and I was inspired to do the same. This is probably not the best audience for this game stuff, but I have nowhere else to put it. I actually took the time to read most of this.

Oregon Trail - Hitlarious

Full Throttle is something I still think about from time to time. It was incredibly frustrating in the end when trying to figure out what to kick.

I played a lot of AoE when it first came out, some Starcraft and A LOT of Acheron's Call. I even quit a job over that one. Did you ever play a game called Interstate '76? Muscle cars with machine guns with the classic 'A-team van camera angle.' CLASSIC.

The only thing I've played lately is some L4D, but haven't tried the 2nd due to the need of a new graphics card. Somehow the motivation to go out, buy one, stick it in and play is lacking. Could be the massive amounts of homework or that my 3-yr-old would rather be playing his games on the system.

Can you imagine how we would have turned out if we had had computers growing up since day one? Holy moly.

I think I'll have to get Vincent a Wii for X-Mas. I might be able to use my computer/DS again.
