Yiiiiikes, Miles' dream is so scary! I like the idea that there are side-effects to his ability. Both their reactions to it are so great, especially this:

“You’re a very good liar, Miles,” Richard says doubtfully, his lips brushing against Miles’s ear.

At least Miles has Richard to comfort him, even if he doesn't understand. :) You win at Richard/Miles. :P
