SO THIS IS SO NOT COMMENT FIC. I got carried away. Er. I hope it pleases? ;) also take it as a wacky AU where Boone survived S1 and they were rescued in S3 like sane people get rescued.Surprisingly (for him), Boone is the one who drives almost all the time
( ... )
It takes another three weeks, and then Boone learns that Jack and Kate hooked up after she was absolved (he isn’t surprised, and he tries to kill that small jealous voice in the back of his head), that it didn’t last (he doesn’t know if he’s surprised, either), that he ended up learning that Claire was his half-sister (that is a surprise). And that none of those things had good repercussions
( ... )
There’s a hand around his waist again and Jack’s lips are colliding with his; Boone moans into his mouth and nods and kisses back, and he’s pretty sure that it’s a lot better than what he had always fantasized about. Sure, in his fantasies Jack’s hands were as steady as they were when they stitched up his ribcage, and he didn’t taste of what is probably methadone, and he wasn’t this desperate, but it’s okay because this is real, and he doesn’t ever want it to end. Or not for a while, at least
( ... )
The morning after, Boone wakes up in the same bed as Jack, with an arm thrown around his waist and a warm body pressed against his back. Jack’s hand is on his stomach pulling him backwards and for a second he thinks that it’s too good to be real and maybe this has all been a long, delusional dream

This is amazing. And I have to say this first: I have a hardcore scar kink, so all of the descriptions of Boone's scars nearly did me in. And the fact that Jack knows about them, that they're this reminder of the one thing he got right while he was on the island? PERFECT.
Your Boone voice always blows me away. I love this Boone who made it home, but is so damaged and completely okay with hopping into a car with Jack and just going. There's a tiredness about him here that feels so right.
The way they fix each other is just gorgeous. And the shower sex! GUH.
“Creedence Clearwater Revival?” he asks, and when until now all he has listened to was a variation on the Nirvana theme with Pixies being the group farther from the genre, Jack just shrugs
( ... )
Aw, thanks so very much!! :D I'm so glad that you liked it! :D
Poor Boone. I like to torment him so much whenever I save his life. But it's so good to hear he worked for you here, because I'm 100% sure that if he had survived he'd have ended up being more damaged than he was at first, so I was kind of really going for that. But well, means he goes on rad trips, right? Also I think that 50% of the reason I love that ship is that they can totally fix each other even if they're not at their best conditions (imo at least), so it's just so good to know you liked that part. (Also I might have a scar kink in regards of at least two or three ships, too. Mainly this one though. *cough*)
