I'm just a wee bit concerned that watching a vid were he's playing an abusive ass made my brain go "there is a Charlie fic in there somewhere if we cut out all that pesky violence." That just goes to show Dom needs to get a regular gig ASAP because I'm clearly going through *ahem* withdrawals. Bad pun is bad. ;)

This is very well done. It doesn’t make me feel warm and fuzzy, but I think that is the point. It is gritty and real.

Charlie runs his tongue over the track marks on her arm.

This line is so vivid and disturbing and clear. It jars you, reminds you what Charlie’s motivation here really is.

Overall, the word choice here is precise and to the point and the quick pacing gives a greater sense of desperation to the whole piece. Good job. :)

Aaaagh, this is so raw and brutal -- I love it. There's something endlessly appealing (in a fascinatingly morbid way) about the Charlie here, how desperate and broken and hopeless he is. The whole thing just paints an incredible picture.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, sometimes a song just gets all wrapped up with a fic for no apparent reason.
