I'm just here to reiterate how much I absolutely love love love this. Your writing is downright haunting, and your Claire completely breaks my heart. The idea of Claire seeing Jack everywhere is amazing to begin with, and when you bring Sawyer into the equation of course it's even better. You pull the whole thing off flawlessly. Your Jack kills me--even when he's dead and therefore maybe not even really Jack!

“Did you want something, Sawyer?”

His smirk fades into a look of concern. He almost looks bashful. She forgets he’s as uncomfortable here as she is, just plain forgets about him at all to be honest.

“Just checking in,” Sawyer mutters.

Jack leans into her, presses a kiss against the hard line of her jaw.

“Ask him to stay,” he whispers against her skin.
