*So remember how I said this fic would have three parts? I lied, it’s having four but it’s totally not my fault livejournal seems to think it’s too long for one post. Whatever, livejournal your face is too long. This doesn’t really change anything because parts 2 & 3 are both going up right now. I just wanted to say if you guys who are reading this

I was a little worried about throwing Libby into the mix, but I couldn't resist in the end, mostly because I was amused by the idea that she would probably think he was having a breakdown.

Great chapter. I've never seen what all the fuss about Kevin was (beyond the actor) but you've made him such a sweetheart. I wonder if he will find out about his alt!relationship.
The Desmond stuff breaks my heart. Despite the tragedy, you've created a story that pulls all the pieces of his history together.
And Juliet - guh. You've granted her such a purpose. That last dream scene was spectacularly spooky and beautiful. On to part III...

I think 99% of Kevin's draw is Fillion. I know that's the big reason why I'm so fond of him. He seems like such a genuinely good guy I can't help but fall for every character he plays...I couldn't even hate him when he was Caleb. I might have a problem.

Seriously, that's almost pretty much all I have to say right now because it's just that good. I love the interaction between Juliet and Kevin; reading this makes me ache for him, especially the conversation in the hotel room (and their realization about Juilet's "death"), but it still feels completely right.
And Desmond and Libby! I adore the idea of Libby and Kevin as the jilted significant others, and how they've lost something too, but there's nothing to be done ... tragic, but it does seem like it's working towards something bigger. I loved, loved, loved that entire scene at their house. And now Dan! I think I may die of squee before this is all over -- seriously, this is PHENOMENAL. Just incredible.

It's weird, I knew that Libby and Kevin were only going to be temporary partners for Des and Juliet when I started this fic, but I got weirdly attached to them myself. Especially Kevin, part of my brain was like you can't break them up! But then I told my brain to shush because there's a plot to be thinking of. ;)
