This is very eerie and good! I don't need to worry about messing Jack up -- you did a wonderful job with him, very true to character. Great work!

I did notice a teeny typo -- raindrops pour from the sky with a furry. I think you meant "fury."

Arg, thank you for pointing that out! I was typing around 11:00 last night and I think my brain glossed right over that one. :)

Ooh, creepy. And very, very like Lost, so I think you did a good job.

The back and forth of Jack's denials paired with the definitely present "tug" of the island had a nice eerie flow to it.

Thank you! I like Jack, but I'm not at all confident in my ability to write him, so I'm glad this worked for you.

Ooooh, I really, really liked this. Such a tangible characterization of Jack; your imagery (like the smells of the jungle, and the wet weather) is so vivid and clear.

And what a fantastic ending! Great job!

A little creepy - but in a very good way!!! - and with wonderful visuals. I love fate and destiny in fics, in fact it was almost my prompt this year (maybe next!), so this really does hit the spot! The reach of the island calling out in what should be a simple storm and Jack trying to not accept it as a sign is perfect. Thank you!!!
