You look a lot like your dad.
I still have some of the shiny spherical baubles for the tree :) Along with a seal wearing a santa hat and so on...

Long story, but I hardly have anything left of my childhood. Just my 14 Oz books that accompanied me through nine moves, and a few odds and ends.
I talk and laugh a lot like my Dad, too! Something I didn't notice for a long time.

we had those glass ornaments (and the hand made woods ones) Grandma had the silver tree with the light wheel

The glass ornaments seemed to break way too easily--in my family, it's easy to see why they didn't last. I suppose the tree just plain wore out.

No, they sure wouldn't! If my grandkids read that, they'd still be scratching their heads about the whole "black and white TV" thing.
