movie reviews: Free Guy and Jungle Cruise

 Since I'm reviewing two movies at once (we went to the drive-in), I'm going to keep this short.

I want to see both of these. I wonder if we have any drive ins. Right now seems like a good time for a come back

Yeah, there are certainly advantages.

One disadvantage we discovered with our present car is that the radio won't stay on, even with the key in the "aux" position--and since the sound is piped in over the radio, we had to buy a portable to play the movie on.

OOo i never thought about that. I think it's the same in my CRV. Maybe if I hit the on button without stepping on the brake it comes on but I'm not sure.

But in a way that's also an advantage: We had to jump start the van parked next to us when the movie was over!

Thanks for the reviews - they definitely tipped Jungle Cruise from "maybe" to "yes".

We do have a drive-in theater close by (in Plymouth - so maybe 5-10 miles from Chief Menominee) and but haven't been there in ages. If it ever closes, I'll probably feel guilty for not going often enough!

Yeah, I've thought the same thing: We've only gotten to the Auburn Garrett a couple of times a summer for the last few years. And since I wouldn't have one of my published novels without them, I'd feel particularly guilty!
