Adam Wests batman was very much 'of the time' and appropriate wasn't it? I agree you can have more than one favourite.

Favorite batman? Michael Keaton. Best MK as batman moment? When he tells himself, "I'm Batman!"

Plus -- there's his joker - Jack Nicholson - who wonders how he gets all those beautiful toys.

As much as I loved Michael Keaton, I always thought they should have entitled that movie "Joker". Nicholson was far and away my favorite Joker, and I really feel he ruled the flick. Just the same, I was far from the only one who thought casting Keaton was a terrible idea, and then had to go back and eat my words.

You're right, you can't compare them, especially Adam's. I liked them all (well not Val) well the first two of Keaton and Bale the third not so much

Keaton's first remains my favorite, and I liked Bale. I like the kid who plays Bruce on "Gotham", too--not at first, but he got better and better. But please, can we never again have an origin story for Batman? We pretty much all know the character by now.

I liked Bale a little better than Keaton but not by much. They were both fun movies. I do like the boy in GOtham

but omg can we never have enough origin story for a character we've seen 1001 times (swear to god if the new Spiderman is an origin story....)

Somehow there've seen six Spider-Man movies, but eight origin stories. How'd they do that?

I think the casting director for "Gotham" deserves some kind of special reward, especially with the villains. They did an amazing job finding the perfect actors for those roles.
