While watching all five seasons of Press Gang late last year I began to notice more and more how much it shared in common with another of my favourite television shows Moonlighting - especially the relationship between the main two characters. This is what resulted.

They are aren't they. I love both of those shows so much. It's just sometimes a little tricky finding other people who do as well, seeing as they're both over 20 years old. :P

Friend away! You're one of about three Aussies I've come across on lj. Clearly I'm not looking hard enough. Plus who else would remember Press Gang apart from the Brits? Such an excellent show. I just love yours pics. I never watched Moonlighting (gasp!) but matching them like this scene for scene is brilliant.

Plus, WTF? Red Dwarf is coming back? Why did I now know this? Yeeeeeah!

Yay! There are a few of us out there. I know, I've found some. :P

If you love Press Gang there's a good chance you'll enjoy Moonlighting as well - even if it does tend to be rather sillier at times. I only found it because Channel 7 used to show repeats during the day. It's Bruce Willis with hair that does it for me every time. Also this scene. :P

Hella excited about the new Red Dwarf. Can't believe it's been over 10 years. Only one week left now. I really can't wait (and am secretly hoping it'll be bigger than the new Doctor Who special). :D

**waves back* Glad you enjoyed the picspam. Moonlighting is quite possibly my favourite TV show ever. Press Gang is worth watching if you can find it as it's basically an English teenage version of Moonlighting and is every bit as brilliant. :D

Love the icon and it also makes me smile to see you have a Moonlighting moodtheme. I was looking for one myself a little while ago but ended up having to make my own. You can check it out below if you're interested. :)
