I went to this yarn event at one of our local craft stores, which was cool. They even had a "fastest knitter" contest, which I entered... and won! :D I got a little gift basket with some beautiful yarns-- one is a royal purple wool and the other is a multicoloured eyelash yarn in shades of green, purple, and turquoise-- and a pair of really nice ( Read more... )

So I wanted to show everyone exactly how long and lethal my left thumbnail is. Including the nail bed, it's an inch and a quarter long. And I have no intention of cutting it off any time soon.
