At first I thought, 'Aw, it's nice that you gave Alvarez a happy ending.' And then I thought, 'Wow, only in Oz could this messed up situation be considered a happy ending!' LOL. Nice work.

Your comment made me smile. I'm glad you liked it. I think "Wow, only in Oz could this messed up situation be considered a happy ending!" seems to capture all those contradictions that made this show so fun to watch.

I'd love to think this might be a happy ending for Alvarez, but it's only happy for now. He's had so many fresh starts that all ended horribly. That's why those few lines at the end feel so ominous. Well done!
