Keller was always my favorite, too.
Your artwork shows beautifully some of his facets : the lover, the killer, the desperate prisoner, all surrounded by the sinister walls of OZ.
If I may say so, the winged figure has left me curious.

No real rhyme or reason. As I was going through my saved photo collection, I found a pic of a guy with the tattoo and thought it would look good on Chris. Or if you want to read more into it, perhaps it's something Chris wishes for himself...to be good enough in the eyes of God, of Toby...to have and find value in his existence, and how he can never do so when he hates himself so, hates what he sees when he looks in a mirror.

Thanks! Keller is an interesting character with different facets that contradict one another. He's so many things all rolled into one: self-sacrificing and selfish; cold and loving; loyal and deceitful; etc.
