ellu_ellu - wonderfully stark image. It's simple but strong.
dustandroses - Love the parallels between life in Oz and the cockroach in the glass. On the one hand there's the element of being trapped, confined, mercy to the whims of others. On the other hand cockroaches are survivors, through the worst of it they somehow keep going on. Here, Dino is very much the human embodiment of that. Knowing and hating his situation, he's still seeing the angles, trying to figure out how to swing it to his advantage, but knowing deep down inside how messed up it all is.
ellu_ellu - I love the artwork. The scaling of the cockroach shows both the claustrophobic nature of Dino's situation and is also a nice comparison to the metaphorical cockroaches that Dino deals with on a regular basis.
dustandroses - Thank you so much for this story. I've seen the episode dozen of times and this just breathes new life into it. I especially liked Dino's relationship with Joey and how you drew that out. You've done a great job here with Dino's mindset and set up the motivation for his eventual self-destruction very nicely.
