cellophanebox - I love the abstract quality of your artwork. The colouring, the way the images are superimposed over one another, the faded "Surrender Dorothy", the distinction and yet similarity between Ryan and Toby -- Ryan on this seemingly wide open background, Toby boxed in, both staring off to the side. It's really a gorgeous work.
cmk418 - This is a wonderfully simple and touching moment between them. I like the innocence of the question and then the suffocating weight it shifts onto Ryan's shoulders. I love how Toby comes across as curious and concerned while Ryan struggles with internalized wounds.
gonattsaga - This is one of the most touching portrayals of a relationship between Ryan and Toby. You capture an honesty between them that feels so genuine that even in the midst of the darker moments there remains a hopeful edge

That's all I can think to say to your wonderful feedback and compliment, which feels like a really small inadequate response, but I get bashful and speechless when I get good and specific feedback, and I can't think of anything else.. but it made my week (especially coming from you, since I'm a fan of your work on top of everything as well)! <3
Thank you. That line of text in the picture "When shaving with a knife you don't miss twice" really got into my head and I could see that working with Ryan and the persona that he wants everyone else to see as opposed to the person that he truly is.
cellophanebox I loved this piece immediately and I think I put a dozen exclamation marks after my request of writing for it, not only because of the pairing (Ryan being my favourite character) but also because of all the images and ideas that overflooded me after just one look at this picture. From the composition to the colouring, to the subtle quotations, it was just really inspiring. I wanted to incorporate the You don't miss twice (when you're shaving with a knife) lyrics into the story more, but it got to be too much to try and cram into one piece, I hope you don't mind that.. it got a cameo in the title though! :)
cmk418 I'm amazed at how much story and emotion that you can fit into such a small amount of text! Writing good drabbles really is an artform in itself and you are definitely a great artist in that genre!

Don't forget who the comment's addressed to! ;) What can I say... just, THANKYOU! for all your wonderful feedback, I don't know if I should blush or cheer or jump into another fic because I got so inspired by it--well, I kind of ended up doing a weird mix of all three!--as you can imagine, your opinion means the most to me, since the fic is a tribute to your art piece in a way, and I wanted to do it justice by capturing something that you'd recognise from the picture, also I was kind of anxious about how you'd feel about my take on the 'Surrender Dorothy' quote, so I'm really relieved you liked that, and I'm simply ecstatic that you liked the fic overall, that it was too, well, chaotic! :)
cellophanebox: Wow there is so much to say about this college. You can write just about everything between Ryan and Toby with this. How you added words like surrender and unwound say alot about the relationship between the two. The colors are so fresh and clean not to mention the perfect expressions of the characters used for your art. Beautiful work! :)

gonattsaga This is the lost scene of season 1! It should have been written like this. Ryan's relationship with Toby and his feelings are so open and pure here. I really love the little note Ryan gave to Toby about surrender. They both really need to let go, find strengh in each other. I really enjoyed this story very much! Just too Ozsome! :)
