HEY who wants to take the month of February and appreciate Officer Sean Murphy?! You do? I do too!
I was struck by the idea during an email chat with Drsquidlove -- who btw bears a most wondrous present for Murphy Appreciation Month -- and after floating the idea to both Squid and Ozsaur (and liberally lifting from Ozsaur's structure for Summer of OZ), we decided it would be a grand success -- not like we needed a lot of convincing. It's Murphy, ffs. MURPHY!
So, let's have a little fest. Pick a day, any day. Pick more than one day! Post something Murphy-related. Post meta, fic, art, recs... anything you want. Maybe Murphy!Doll will show up, having just collared an O'Reily rascal. We can dream. :)
And then drop a link to your creation @ oz_wishing_well. I'll put together a master list of Murphy Appreciation, and we will all revel, and wallow.
Comment with your pick for day(s) that you want to create for, then pick what you want to produce, and then get on it. All you have to do is post Murphy content on your chosen day(s), and link back to it. (And give feedback, and revel.)
Please do not feel restricted to only happy-go-lucky slobberfest appreciations of CO Murphy: bring on the whump, pining, buckets of angst, or wherever else your Muse leads you. So long as Murphy is the star of the show, ahem, or the center of another character's thoughts, etc, all varieties of Murphy-lovin' are welcome.
Rules, such as they are:
1. Sign-ups are open from now until the end of February but maybe let's not all post on the last day.
2. Doubling or tripling up on days is fine. More than that -- try to spread out a bit. Make EVERY DAY a Murphy Appreciation Day!
3. No minimums! Participate how you'd like. Anyone & everyone is welcome to participate; if you have even a smidgen of love for Sean Murphy, here is the place and now is the time to share it.
4. You can post several parts of a fanwork over several days, as long as the story/art is complete by the end of February.
5. Post your content here @ oz_wishing_well, or to your own journal. You can also archive on AO3 or Unit B, and post a link to your content.
