It's so true! That's kind of the whole point of the Lilith.

I know! It would have been much more interesting with the Lilith.

This one's been recced to me, but from your review, I don't think I'd like it much. Should I give it a try? I didn't get into the one short story of hers I read.

So far this book was the only one of hers I was really into. Not sure why, exactly, but it was more interesting.

I... am not sure if you'd like it? It's hard to say. Though I'd read it for the first part alone, and see if that's enough to catch your interest.

I was pretty uninterested in Colin and Savi. Actually, that's not true. I like Colin, but Savi does NOT hold up to him at all. He desperately needed a more interesting partner. I also thought the whole "Oh noes, you're a vampire and thus you can't be sexually monogamous to me! Thus I shall go off and marry some traditional Indian male!" plot was freaking ridiculous.

Aiiiieee to the traditional Indian male marriage. Sigh. I like that Savi had some character in this book, but I rolled my eyes a little at having an Indian character as a computer hacker and programmer (and I say this being a female Asian computer person myself and joining Savi in geek pride).

It's all the more ridiculous because it's blatantly obvious that it ain't happening. Savi's life is just too weird for even a lone date.
