Well, the fourth novel has the Half-Egyptian alpha male changeling, but otherwise the m.o. is the same.

You should concentrate on Meljean Brook's second novel, because the Half-Indian girl actually got raised by her grandmother and has to address that. To understand the world, the first novel is necessary, though. *hint hint*, *pr, pr*, say no MOA!!
