Got to the board meet yesterday all in one piece and without getting significantly lost on the way! This is probably a large part due to the fact that a) I have a talking car that is smarter than me and b) the boy was driving. Met Masq, Fresne, Vicki, Miyu, Sheri, Buffyboy and Liq, had good food and very tasty margaritas. Have a picture as well, ( Read more... )

well, actually, I always think they look like their icons.

Yes, me too! I always imagined that (both) Rahael and Scroll looked like Lilah Morgan. And of course Rufus (Hankat) must have feline qualities to her face. Both Rob and Anneth look like Buffy. Luckily, I met d'Herblay before he joined LJ, although now I picture him looking like he looks in real life, only with a Muskateer hat on. And a sword. Ponygirl wears chaps and a cowboy hat in my head, and KdS of course, looks just like Giles.

Exactly! Although now I also have an impression of Rahael being a mix of Lilah and Katharine Hepburn.

It's funny isn't it? I had seen pictures of people but they still looked so different some how. And very oddly turns out I had met Darby years ago in one of my previous jobs. Weird and wornderful world sometimes.

Wow, that's pretty nifty! It reminds me of my high school... there was a giant network of parents who knew each other, since they had all come from Taiwan to do grad school in the US.
