I can't believe you were just in Italy when we'll be in Italy in just a few days! What a whirlwind with that whole passport fiasco. Glad you managed to get there fine in the end.

I am reassured to know that you were able to carry on your baggage -- I don't want to check anything now that the liquid restrictions have been lifted, but I'm worried about fitting everything I need for ten days.

I'm so excited for you guys! Hopefully you will all have much less plane trouble and not get sick like me!

I actually sat down that night and measured out all the dimensions of my suitcase just to make sure it fit (14"x22"x9" I think), because I was just that paranoid after the passport fiasco.

The mozzarella at the hotel was sooooo goooood. I mean to upload pictures soon, and post stuff as soon as my little laptop stops crashing.

The music was indoors? When we were staying on the Amalfi coast and went to a concert in Ravello it was out of doors, with the musicians in a gazebo-type thing (with pigeons...).

Ohhhh, that sounds so lovely! We were actually scared it was going to be outdoors, since it was starting to get really chilly out, but I guess that's why it was inside.
