Another post on books. Forgive me. It's late, I'm staying up late to help a friend write an essay for his scholarship, and I've got spare time in between correcting his frankly horrible grasp on grammar. XD So here goes.

And I do agree that making people laugh is a skill. But I also think that making people genuinely melancholy is an equal one. I don't mean sentimentally BAWWW, I mean... uneasily sad. This makes me think you will liek taht fic I linked you a while ago actually. I laughed out loud at a couple of scenes which is damne dunusual for me - and I will confess to a little damp-eyeness in places, though not, possibly, where I was SUPPOSED to XDD

And I think that making people sad is an equal one! Just not one that needs defending as I have found it gets the credit it deserves already. XD I didn't think it needed to be said. Maybe this is because of my lit class, though.

Aww, that's a pity. I love reading people's thoughts on that sort of thing, especially since my ideas are a little immature--I haven't read enough of anything to make a proper judgment!

I'll look into him. I haven't read him yet, but I sure plan on it.
