The sexy geek icon was rather popular last night, so I thought I'd make a few more. Oh hell, who am I kidding? I just wanted an excuse to play with Clark and colours and blends. ;-)
I loved the way he kept taking them off and putting them back on, just like a regular person getting used to glasses. Like, "Do I really want to wear these? or can I get along without them? Can I ever get used to them?"
I'd love to share #6 with someone. They're all beautiful. Love the colors.
I was amused at the end, when he got caught staring at himself in the mirror! *g*
You know, I think this is the first time you've had one of my icons from a post. So I'm ever so pleased that you want one. Help yourself to whatever you want. :-)
I was pleased with the colour on #2: it's one of the first times I've managed to get a gradient colour to look the way I wanted it.
Only a few of these used brushes for the borders: most I outlined and bucket filled, because I wanted specific shapes. I mostly used brushes for a faint texture.
I've never used a preset path though. I'll have to explore.... *g*
The tool on the left, that's grouped with the gradient fill tool. It's next to the eraser.
I tried playing with preset paths, and found the bit on the right that said paths, but I couldn't see how to get anything to happen! I'll have to hunt up a tutorial to get some clues.

However...you can do those borders yourself by using a preset path. It's dead simply. You did use brushes..right?
