And that moment, when they're back at the apartment and Severide's picked the perfect DVD and icecream because he knows Shay that well, is my favourite moment between them.
Yes! I finally got to watch it today and yes, they make me so happy. Watching Deadliest Catch together and just being adorable BFFs.

I like Mills/Dawson better than Casey/Dawson but I'm a bit worried about Mills possibly being more invested. We'll see, I guess.

Felt bad for Casey when his sister shut the door in his face. That was a bit cold!

Oh, god, I didn't spoil you with anything in your journal, did I? I just assumed you'd have watched it last week. I didn't know you were busy writing! So sorry if I spoiled you at all!

Yes, there is that - I thought the same thing. Though he did try to hit on Shay first! *g* But he does seem to have really taken to Dawson, bonding over their love of cooking and working closer with her now, so I hope it goes well.

It was a painful moment! Though I'm feeling a little distant from Casey lately - maybe because his storyline seems to keep changing, and it feels like too many different things all going on with him.

Nah, don't worry! Yeah, I figured I'd write first but then I got the flu in the middle of all that so that's why I was so incredibly late watching it.

I feel you on the Casey issue. I think that while it's an interesting and important back-story, they should've waited with it a while after the whole Voight and Hallie storyline. If they keep rushing the characters (although it mostly seems to be just Casey) through all sorts of highly dramatic storylines, they run the risk of it becoming more like a soap opera eventually rather than a drama.

Normally I check, though, before saying anything about an episode, so I must make sure to do that! And I do hope you're beginning to feel better!

Exactly! That's what I was thinking, in a vague unformed way, so thanks for putting into words!
