If Darcy suddenly got a super-power (sort of an "oops, that wasn't meant to happen" thing, but something Darcy would think was awesome), what would it be? I might sort of need to know for Purposes.

I think she would love the ability to tazer people without using a tazer. Like she can tazer people with a touch or something.

You should write it then! I was thinking of going for three powers (they grow! *g*), but I can scrap the third. I'm sure you'd do way better with it anyway!

I'm with the tazer crowd. Maybe she tazers Loki and.... Ohhh ot whould be funny if loki gave her Thor's powers or there was a body switch.

I'm inclined to think it would be something subtle but far reaching, like a heightened ability to read body language or other unconscious cues that might function in practice a little like telepathy. I think this would work quite well with Darcy's personality - like an extension of the gossip network, perhaps? Although it might seem like quite a passive power, it would have an active component, too - the ability to respond to those unconscious cues in precisely the right way to influence the person she's reading. Or, extrapolating further, responding physically in a fight - if she's able to read and respond she'd be able to block or get away or... I suppose the only limit would be her physical strength and agility, which she'd have to work on.

I feel like with all these splendid ideas, I ought to write something more than the silly little ficlet I had in mind! The plan was to write something quick and silly so I'd actually finish it - I'm so bad at finishing stories! But hopefully I'll get some time this week.
