Aw, this was sweet! And I laugh at your clever theft. (And I heart Amelia.)

Thank you! I always fancied a pornier version of that scene, so this seemed the perfect opportunity for it! And tied in nicely with me stealing the wet shirted hero striding out of the lake trope for the first story in the universe! *g*

I do so adore this universe. The pining translates across perfectly.

So Nathaniel let go. He held nothing back. This was Bradley, and Nathaniel would do almost anything for him. He closed his eyes against the yellow sun and let himself fall to pieces.

So, so lovely.

"I believe I will go and search the stables. I'm sure that will take me some considerable time. You are both quite impossible to find," she called back as she slipped through the door to the stairs.

HA! Love her. Especially with the peeking; it's Brad. Who wouldn't?!

It was such a pleasure to see this appear. Awesome job.

Aww, thank you so much! That made me happy!

I'd peek! Except actually I just wouldn't cover my eyes at all!!

I love what you ended up doing with it. Very calm, and somehow feels more complete. <3

I was glad to! It's funny how well it fits, too. I'm the last person to ever put stock in titles as mine are always terrible and thrown on at the last minute, but I can't think of this fic without also thinking of the title.

I always know I've chosen well when I can see the title a year later and remember the story. And, conversely, I know I failed when I see a title and have no idea what the hell story it is, even though I wrote it!
