Thank you vinylroad, bgaleb, chantefable, kellifer_fic, jujubinha, rejeneration, nicolasechs and tikiaceae for the row of cute spiders on my profile page - they have stripy socks! The least scary spiders ever!

I was going to send some out now, but then I worried I might accidentally gift them to arachnophobes, so the first 8 (or possibly more - I'll send them until LJ stops me) people to comment here will get one.

I am interested to know if you find you are able to send out eight spiders? I tried sending you one yesterday, after having sent seven to other people, and found I could not (nor could I send it to anyone else).

Could it be because you already received eight and there is something screwy with the LJ code for this?

I find I can usually send more than the given limit for free v-gifts. I don't know if it's related to having a permanent account, or based on speed of sending them, or putting them all in the cart together or what! But it'll be interesting to see!

Wow, 68!!!! That must have taken quite a while! I usually manage to send far more than the given amount of freebies, but 68 is impressive!

I had wondered if speed is something to do with it - if I keep filling my basket, it often seems to let me. So I keep going!

I sent like 10. It wouldn't let me send to certain people, but then it would, but one person it still wouldn't. How do you know what the limit is? Weird...

The limit is supposed to be 8 this time (usually it's 5 with free v-gifts), but sometimes LJ lets you have more, and then eventually says you can't send v-gifts to someone (even though you can). That's usually when you've hit the limit.

Perhaps the people it wouldn't let you send to have blocked v-gifts?
