Thank you! It's weird, I can vaguely remember writing it, but have no idea what prompted it, or if it was meant to be just this or part of something else! My poor brain.

I don't know how I forgot about it! And I can't remember now why I got so stuck! I guess it doesn't help that there's a lot of Ray in it, and I suck at writing Ray. But I must get back to it!

I'm not sure if they're going to meet or not, but here's a little scene with a mention of Kirk, that probably won't stay in the finished fic because it's Ray POV and I don't know what I was doing writing it ( ... )

Also, just tell me one thing. Who are your red-shirts going to be. Are we talking Orginal/Reboot type universe or TNG/DS9/Voyager. Please don't say Enterprise. I didn't even give it a chance.

It's definitely Reboot universe - those are my favourite characters! Also, the only universe I feel really capable of writing. Though I've just remembered, I did write a little TNG story once - amazing what I'll do when prompted!

I do believe it was! The ship that had to follow Kirk around fixing up all his shit after he wrecked everything? Or was it another one?

ETA: Also, psha, 'that old.' I've been working on the sekrit service!fic for more than two years. Good things are worth the wait!

How is it that I can write 23,000+ in ten days, and then take years to write something short?! Crazy.

I'm glad you're still working on the secret service fic! Even though I must admit that I've barely read any GK fic lately. I should probably have a rewatch or something.
