How the hell do I look through 1stclass-kink for Erik/Charles prompts to write without getting distracted every other minute by fills? It is impossible!!!

Also, so many prompts, OMG!!! I don't know where to begin!

Not quite so many prompts, but more rules - too confusing for me! I think I'll just stick to one kink meme! But thanks for the suggestion.

I prefer it because the mods didn't put up a restriction about underaged. I mean I can understand not being able to post about kids in sexual situations but teens have sex and you can't even post that.

Ah, I can understand that being frustrating. I just want to write Erik/Charles though, so that doesn't impact on them.

I'm going to have to institute some sort of strict discipline on myself. Say, 15 minutes searching, must find at least 5 potential prompts to write, no reading any fills in that time. Then I can reward myself by reading something!

I found that going through the tags on Delicious is the best way. :)

I've actually found a good selection of prompts that way - delicious is great! The only shame is that it only covers the first two posts, not the latest three. But I have more than enough ideas for now, so I'm all set! \o/

I'm just going to sit here and wait for your Charles/Erik stories shall I? :D

So, is there a GG prompt where Charles is the determined bookish one wanting to go to Yale and Erik is the town rebel that everyone disapproves of but that builds Charles a car as a sign of his devotion and works in a Xmas tree lot for the money. Heh.

That reminds me, I really need to make a start on my Xmen Bang fic...

Funnily enough, I've posted some Dean/Rory comment fic fluff today, and a 500 word draft outline of an Erik/Charles fic! But I do love your fusion idea - I'm going to add that to my prompt list!

I'm so happy you're writing X-Men BB fic - have you got an idea yet?

*is in the process of writing two slightly big WiP!Fills* So I kinda know what you mean. I never meant to get so caught up!

I have a tendency to poke around xmen_firstkink when I feel like taking a break from the big (anon) fills because there's less prompts to peruse. (Which is not a judgement on the comm, btw.)

All of which leads to: I am excited at the prospect of you writing some Erik/Charles in the future! ♥

Well, I'm keeping the two big fills anon for now (though I'm three parts off de-anoning the first of the big ones - I'm mainly doing this in an effort to make sure I keep my pace up) but I've put the four smaller fills I've done up on fandomatemylife and AO3 if you feel like reading. :)

(Re: the anon!fills, though, I like giving people clues so: 1 is a lengthy post-canon piece with a different style and has outgrown its prompt a bit and 2 is a modern!AU which is regularly described as 'not as AU as you think'. Both are in amongst the first round. :D)

Thank you - I've bookmarked those for later. I haven't even looked at the first round of the kink meme, though - there's just so much, it's hard to know where to start! A nice problem!!!
