I've not been around much lately. That's probably not going to change for a few weeks.

I need some Firefox help - I have the latest version, but multiple websites keep flashing messages at me telling me I'm using an out of date browser, and I can't download/install DownThemAll! because Mozilla's own site is convinced I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.6

I've had that problem with Firefox before and it was frustrating. I found that if I just simply uninstall FF and reinstall it immediately, everything remains the same way, so try uninstalling it with something that erases all the traces (if you haven't done it), like Revo Uninstaller (you have to save your settings and extensions and bookmarks). I'm not sure it's gonna solve your problem, but it solved mine.

Thank you SO much. I've just been doing an ordinary uninstall, so I'm backing up all my settings/extensions/bookmarks now, and I've downloaded Revo Uninstaller, so I'm crossing my fingers it'll work.
