Hee. I am so Brad/Nate blind most of the time, I barely even notice anyone else. But Doc is very very awesome. He's a hard character to get right, I think, because he really only speaks when he's got important shit to say. And when he's protecting wee sick children. ♥

For the saucepan - in university we tended to soak it with salt water. That seemed to help. Just pour some salt onto the burnt on bits and put a little water in... don't stir. If it's really bad, it might not work perfectly, but it usually gets stuff off.

That's a nice easy thing to try - I've got it soaking now! Thanks! It is pretty bad, though - I've scoured a lot off, and scraped away at it, but what's left is burned on hard!

For the saucepan, fill the bottom with hot, soapy water, and then simmer it on your stove for a while. I learned this trick from Heloise, and it's worked on some of the most awful burnt-on messes in my pots and pans.

ETA: Use A LOT of dish soap. Like, twice what you'd use for an entire sink of dishes.
