Ah, but the fic I'm (hopefully) writing (it's just bits and pieces so far, because I need more canon knowledge), is oodles of Brad/Nate UST through the Iraqi engagement, hopefully ending in Brad/Nate of the porny variety. I'm sure it's already been written, and by better writers, but I am blithely ignoring that because I want to write it too!

But there might be ST/GK something or other in the future. That's the fun thing about being me - I never know what I'll write next! *g*

I'm do pleased the books have come! I'm rewatching episode 5 this evening, and then I shall do some reading.

Hee, thank you! I've no idea what they'd do, other than blow shit up and talk shit, but I think there'd be a bit of a feud with Kirk and his lot - Ray would consider them pansy-assed, swanning around in the luxury of the Enterprise!
