+ Does anyone use Stickies? Only you're supposed to be able to get them to stick to webpages, which would be fantastic, but I can't seem to get them to do that. Or, failing that, anyone know of a good alternative? Internote hasn't been updated for the newer version of Firefox, and Diigo would be fine if I wanted everyone to read my sticky notes ( Read more... )

oh thanks for that firefox addon - it's excellent!

I'd love an invite for Dreamwidth - I don't know anyone on there yet - but people seem to be thinking of migrating....

godwottery should be in the dictionary HAHAHA

I'm all for any addon that saves time!

I've only had one invite so far, but leave me an email address, and you'll go on my list! Though it's a longish list already!

godwottery is in good dictionaries! It means balderdash!

Man, I only used Diigo for all of ten minutes, but I think it's possible to set everything as private so that people can't read your notes? I'm not sure. I've never found an add-on for notes that does exactly what I want it to.

I'm looking at this Stickies thing, and it seems like what you do is right click the note you want to attach, click "attach", and pick what you want to attach it to, and then the next time you're on that page, you can click the system tray icon and that note will pop up. Something like that.

If you ever do have an extra invite code, I would certainly love one. ♥

I just took a look at Diigo's purpose and it was all about social networking, so I ran! Not what I was after at all.

I've tried that with stickies, but I can't get it to attach to a web page - if I close the page, the sticky moves to my desktop, which isn't the point at all. *sigh* There really should be something, surely!

You're on my invite code list!

That Firefox addon sounds useful, thanks!

I don't know anyone over at DW yet but I'd love an invite. Everyone's talking about it and lately :D

I've only had the addon a day or two and I already love it.

Leave me an email address, and I'll add it to my list!

I'm trying to check out who has accounts and who needs codes, so, double-checking: you have a DW account now, yes?

I would love a Dreamwidth code if you ever have one to spare. :) And I'll pop over there now to bookmark your journal so I'll know where you are. I'm a bit paranoid about losing people in the shuffle, but so far everyone I know has set up at DW with identical or near identical user names to what they have now, so maybe it will all turn out to be ridiculously easy.

One of the things I love about DW is that it's being set up to be easy to follow and connect with people on different journaling sites. So hopefully it'll all work out well.
