Love the countdown, and their struggle for the top position. And, yes - being as close to each other as humanly possible would totally be what they'd want to do at the ending of the world.

I wrote three ficlets for the Battle this time, and of all three, this is the one I'm most proud of; I also wrote it fairly last-minute, and it was the one that came the most naturally.

I'm glad someone else felt it was right.
