I really liked the way you set this up. I really want these two to team up, and I don't want Ellison to die. So if they end up a couple then that's okay too! Hehe. I loved that last line!

I confess I've been trying to figure out how to get them together--at least in the sharing scenes sense, if not necessarily the sharing a bed sense, though I'm not opposed to the latter--since he showed up in "Complications" and I was struck by their chemistry. So I'm glad this worked for you!

This isn't a fandom I know, but the first line hooked me. I really enjoyed the story - it's gorgeous and painful and hot.

Many thanks! I suspect there's small chance of ever seeing this pairing onscreen (though I would totally settle for them just getting some scenes together!), but I'm nevertheless finding it extremely compelling.
