I need my own little countdown to yuletide button so I don't keep wanting to refresh the archive to check (I'm resisting, promise)! And I need to stop going through the yuletide treats page - it's just too much fun.

I also need a beta, for a Merlin/Arthur first-time five things fic (the winner of the five things poll). Not finished yet - will be tonight

I don't know your taste beyond Supernatural, but I'm ridiculously in love with this show, so I'm trying to encourage everyone to watch it if they can!

I'm... obsessive, and my love for SPN kind of precludes me spending a lot of time with anything else, but I will keep the recommendation in mind!

(I briefly watched Californication, and I liked it a lot, but then I got bored of it because it didn't have Sam and Dean, lol.)

I doubt if it'd matter really, especially as there's nothing spoilery in the story. But-- I will have more Merlin stories needing betas over the next few weeks, so would it work for you if I could call on you for one of those instead? That'd give you time to catch up on episodes (assuming you're still watching), so I could be certain I wouldn't be spoiling you.

Oh, I wasn't so much worried about spoiling myself as I was about whether I'd be able to help you adequately or not! But doing another story in a few weeks would be fine, I'd still be glad to help out :) I am still watching it, in the midst of Yuletide pinch hitting and such, though trying to convince my husband to watch it with me is getting to be a bit of a trial. For some reason, he doesn't seem to love the slashy goodness as much as I do ;) But I hope I can get through it soon!

yuletide does take over at this time of year - it's quite addictive, I find!

That'll be wonderful if you might be available some other time - I don't like pestering betas too often, so it's great for me if I have a few to ask! And I'm always happy to beta in return, as long as I have time - feel free to ask, and I'll do it if I can.
