Oh my! I love the sequence of events, the concept here, and the way that it flows. The images were wonderful too. I've never seen this film, but you make me want to. Your writing is, as always, superb.

Thanks for sharing! (and for Z!)

Thank you so much! It's a beautiful film (the cinematography is amazing) but it's also strange and a little cold, and I wanted to write something different to give some sense of the nature of the film. I'd certainly recommend trying the film if you can find it anywhere, though I think Drowning By Numbers is actually my favourite film by Peter Greenaway.

ZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!! I'm not sure what we're missing now. U maybe? Possibly K? I think that's all. We'll do it!

We're missing U and K. I'm posting U in the next hour. *grins* K? It might take me a little longer. It's been a while since I've seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but I think I can write some Gay Perry fiction. He's happy-making anyway. Wooh! Porn Battle!

Whee, glad you've got U all sorted! I looked at the Ks, and there's just nothing there I could even begin to attempt, or I'd have helped you out.

I have very little idea what I'm going to write for the last two days. I have a bit of a Smallville/Burn Notice crossover written, but the characters haven't spoken yet, and they're still fully clothed, which isn't a great start. *g* After that, I haven't a clue! But I have to manage two more pieces, somehow! Maybe I'll make erotic stick people art! *g*

U is done! HAH! Erotic Stick People FTW \O/!

I've determined that I want to at least write one piece for every day, so I've only done two at this point...that means I need to get going or I'm going to be left in the dust. *laughs*

I'm really interested in that Burn Notice crossover. I hope it works out for you! I love both those shows and I'm curious to see how they mesh for you. Plus, you're just awesome so I'm greedy for more fiction!

At this point, my K piece will be the very last letter! We've done amazingly well on this battle. I'm so impressed with the number of entries and the quality and just everything. Thanks again for running this!

Burn Notice is one of those fandoms that I enjoy, but haven't attempted yet - it's got such a distinctive style, I'm not sure I'm up for it. But I'll see how it goes.

I want to go and find your Kiss Kiss Bang Bang piece in a minute - I've not seen the movie (too violent for me) but I've read a bit of fic in the fandom.

Hee, if you happen to know Order of the Stick (for which I *cough* may have left a few prompts), you could totally do some erotic stick people art! ;)

I don't actually know Order of the Stick (though that link amused me no end). But omg, don't encourage me to do something so daft - I seriously draw the worst stick people ever! And that's with paper and pencil - imagine how bad they'd be with a mouse!

Thanks so much! I wasn't sure if anyone would even read it, because it's a fairly obscure British film from a couple of decades ago! But it was fun to write something a little different, so I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I haven't seen this film, but I really like the form you've used for this story. It's very clinical and yet still somehow hot. Nicely done!

I'll be really surprised if anyone comes along and
has seen the film! *g*

That really pleases me, because I was trying to convey something of the sense of the film, and it's not a warm film, it is almost clinical in its feel.

Yeah, I think most of Peter Greenaway's work I've seen has been somewhat like that - very technically proficient and yet sort of cold, or distant or something. Except maybe Prospero's Books, I remember that as being a bit more human, for lack of a better word, but then it's been probably ten years since I saw it :)

That's it exactly - I love his work, I find it incredibly beautiful, but my emotions are never engaged.
