I think making them insta-friends would have been hopelessly implausible - too much hostility between them to overcome it in a day or two. But I think it's a start, and I hope desperately that we get another season, and that their relationship does develop.

Hee, I am! I like the idea of them as a pair - I even tried to write Tyra/Lyla femmeslash as a gift fic a little while back, but failed. I think it would be easier now, after the season finale. *nods*

And I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I just wish I knew your fandom - I'm pretty multi-fannish, and I've tried to read a bit of almost everything, but NCIS is one I know nothing about at all.

And yes, although I plan on a Porn Battle next time, I think I might alternate or something like that - I liked being able to have the option of gen pairings, and any sort of rating, and I think a lot of people took part in this who wouldn't in a Porn Battle.
