Eeeeek! I wondered if someone would notice! It was in the first draft:

I did wonder - I found I had to cut loads from my text to fit in the comment limit and I nearly got rid of the prompt, too...

And yes, a very young JP I suspect is still a bit on the gangly side for a lass.

I groaned when I realised what I'd done. And then I decided that at least I'd used the prompt initially, which is sort of in the spirit of the challenge... *g*

Someone has posted some icons of girl!Sam in winsisterfic, and while technically they're not that good, I think they give a good impression of her.

I love the craziness that is fandom. The girl!Sam pics are more convincing than I thought they might be (although on a 6'4 body it might not really work). The girl!Dean pics in a post further down are actually far more disturbing - I hadn't realised how extremely square and manly his jaw looked (although of course that is why he is so devastatingly handsome...) Eeek.

I think I'd have to imagine them on a 5'6" body, or something of that nature. Because a 6'4" woman is just scary!

And yeah, I just took a look at girl!Dean, and I see what you mean. I think his jawline would have to be softened a lot to make it work, and his other features too for that matter.

Bottom line? I prefer them as boys. But then I've never been into cross-dressing (or emo boys with eyeliner, come to that. Well, perhaps in the 80s. But I was a lot younger then). These days, I like my men manly. (and my conversations weird)

Crossdressing, no! Genderswap though, is something this fandom has got me into. I actually have no idea why - maybe it's just because there are some amazing stories in the fandom, and they've sucked me in. Yes, I like that explanation, because it puts all the blame squarely on other people's shoulders! *g*

Well, I will admit that this is a fandom in which genderswap is easily conceivable (I really have an issue - can't help it, it bugs me) with random genderswap in fandoms grounded in reality. SPN - well, you can imagine a curse... (don't get me started on mpreg, though, which I really, truly DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE APPEAL OF. I mean, really).

Blaming others is also an excellent strategy.
