This was actually part of a much longer RayV/Fraser/RayK love triangle story I started years ago & never finished. It was equal opportunity angst-ing for all three of them: sad sex, angry sex, makeup sex, competitive sex -- sexual tug of war with Fraser as the rope. I'll probably never finish it. But something good came out of it! I whittled it (no, carved it) down to 4300 characters for the porn battle.

Oh nice. Very very nice. I've been looking for something with Due South love triangle for weeks now. Something dark and angsty. That's how I found this. I don't suppose there will ever be a chance you'll finish the larger story, eh?

Well, there's always a chance. Right finishing school is the priority... I'm SO CLOSE (mid-May!).

But let me say "Hail, fellow, well met!" because dark and angsty is my thing! I'm an angst fetishist! I love dark and angsty! My favorite fandoms and pairings either have canonical angst/darkness or can easily be fanfic-ed into it with only minor alteration ( ... )

Ack! You're killing me here! This is so fucking sad and desperate and sexy. Fraser is breathtaking - tortured and conflicted and so passive because he can't bear to choose. And Ray is...this is Ray. It's wrong and it's sick, but he's willing to do anything to be with someone he loves. And Vecchio...even though we never see him, this is Vecchio. Territorial and fucking with Fraser (literally and figuratively) just to fuck with Kowalski. It's sick, but this is them. And as much as I like everything-is-wonderful domestic stories about how the three of them live together peacefully and have hot sex...this is how it would be. I love that idea of a tug-of-war and Fraser being the rope. He can't say no to either one of his Rays, and that shines forth in this fic. Sexy, sad and a little ugly - perfect, in other words. Nice work.

Thank you so much. No, it's not pretty or healthy. But sometimes the characters take you to their place, and you can't do much about it...

this is dreadfully realistic, and so sad... but I can't help believing that these resourceful guys will find a happy ending somewhere.

Fuck, this hurt. It's so much closer to the only way I can see a threesome with them playing out than most of the F/K/V stories. And it's so Ray, and Fraser, and Vecchio there between them.

Wow. I'm not sure I could handle the full version.

Thank you. Actually, I couldn't really handle the full version... it was frakkin' painful to write what unfinished stuff I had. But it wouldn't come out any other way!

Whew. I think you're brilliant, and I couldn't help reading this, but now I feel like I should probably offer you my hangnails so you can pour some lemon juice on them. Hee. Not the most fun thing I've read in awhile, but I am not sorry I did. It's breathtaking and twisty and very well done.
